قام اللواء سالم عبدالله السقطري، مساعد الأمين العام لهيئة رئاسة المجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي، اليوم الخميس، بزيارة تفقدية لمستشفى الأمل الصحي في مديرية البريقة، الذي يتم تجهيزه كمحجر صحي لاستقبال أي حالات إصابة بفيروس كورونا المستجد.
وخلال الزيارة التفقدية التي رافقه فيها الدكتور عبدالناصر الوالي، عضو هيئة رئاسة المجلس، القائم بأعمال رئيس لجنة الإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية، والمحامية نيران سوقي، عضوة هيئة الرئاسة، نائبة رئيس الجمعية الوطنية، والدكتور سالم الشبحي، رئيس لجنة مجابهة فيروس كورونا بالمجلس، التقى اللواء السقطري ومرافقوه بالدكتور علي الوليدي وكيل وزارة الصحة، وإدارة مستشفى الأمل ومسؤولين من منظمة الصحة العالمية، ومنظمة أطباء بلا حدود، وإدارة مصافي عدن، وعدد من الأطباء والهيئات الصحية و الدوائية، حيث وقف الجميع أمام الاستعدادات والتحضيرات والتجهيزات الطبية والفنية لمستشفى الأمل، وتفقدوا الاقسام التشخيصية وغرف العناية المركزة والمختبرات والمعدات والأجهزة الطبية المتوفرة في المستشفى.
كما ناقشت قيادات المجلس مع الحاضرين سبّل تسخير كافة الطاقات والامكانات لدعم وتعزيز القدرات الصحية والطبية عبر الدعم المُقدم من الجهات والمنظمات الدولية المانحة والمراكز الإغاثية والإنسانية.
واتفق الحاضرون على ضرورة التكاتف وتضافر جميع الجهود والعمل بروح الفريق الواحد وتذليل كافة الصعاب وتسهيل الاجراءات التي من شأنها أن تسرّع من اتمام وإنجاز المتطلبات الضرورية لضمان توفر العلاجات والمعدات الصحية تحسباً لأي ظرف طارئ قد ينتج في حالة اكتشاف أي اصابات بفيروس كورونا أو انتقال الوباء إلى البلاد لا قدر الله.
