قال رئيس إعلامية حزب الإصلاح علي الجرادي "إن مصر العروبة والحضارة والتحرر ساندت ثورة اليمن ضد الإمامة الكهنوتية وتجدد اليوم دعمها لليمن الاتحادي ومساندتها للشرعية".
وأضاف في تغريدة بحسابة – على موقع "تويتر" – "مصر هي نافذة النور التي أطل منها اليمني على العالم وتخلص من جهل الإمامة بآلاف المعلمين الذين زرعوا وعلموا جيل الجمهورية".
وتابع الجرادي قائلاً: "مصر هي الوطن حين يفقد العربي وطنه".
جاء ذلك بالتزامن مع زيارة رئيس الوزراء معين عبد الملك، اليوم الأحد، إلى القاهرة على رأس وفد حكومي رفيع في زيارة رسمية لجمهورية مصر العربية تستغرق أربعة أيام، وكان في استقباله في مطار القاهرة الدولي نظيره المصري مصطفى مدبولي وعدد من الوزراء والمسؤولين المصريين.
وقال رئيس الوزراء المصري مصطفى مدبولي، إن "بلاده تدعم الحكومة اليمنية والشرعية الممثلة في الرئيس عبدربه منصور هادي"، خلال مؤتمر صحفي عقب جلسة مباحثات حول مستجدات الأوضاع الوطنية والإقليمية والدولية وتنسيق مواقف البلدين إزاء القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
"The Arabism, civilization, and liberation Egypt supported Yemen's revolt against the priestly imamate, and today it renews its support for federal Yemen and its support for legitimacy," said Al-Jaradi, head of the Islah party media.
He added in a tweet on "Twitter" - "Egypt is the window of light from which the Yemeni overlooked the world and got rid of the ignorance of the Imamate by the thousands of teachers who planted and taught the Republic's generation."
Al-Jaradi continued, saying: "Egypt is the homeland when the Arab loses his homeland."
This came in conjunction with the visit of Prime Minister Moein Abdel Malik, today, Sunday, to a high-ranking government delegation on a four-day official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and he was received at Cairo International Airport by his Egyptian counterpart Mustafa Madbouly and a number of Egyptian ministers and officials.
Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said that his country supports the Yemeni and legitimate government represented by President Abd Rabouh Mansour Hadi during a press conference after a session of discussions on developments in the national, regional and international situations and coordination of the two countries' positions on issues of common concern.
