نفت المتحدثة الرسمية باسم اللجنة الوطنية العليا للطوارئ لمواجهة وباء كورونا الدكتورة إشراق السباعي صحة ما نشر تحت عنوان "السباعي تكشف عن وباء جديد مسؤول عن ارتفاع الوفيات في عدن".
وأضافت الدكتورة إشراق السباعي في بلاغ صحفي، أنها لم تتحدث او حتى تُشر لوجود اي وباء جديد مسؤول عما يجري من وفيات خلال مداخلتها الهاتفية مع قناة TRT التركية وقبلها قناة الحدث وإنما تحدثت عن تفشي فيروس كورونا واوبئة أخرى كحمى الضنك والملاريا والمكرفس.
ودعت المتحدثة الرسمية باسم اللجنة الوطنية العليا للطوارئ لمواجهة وباء كورونا الدكتورة إشراق السباعي موقع صحيفة الأمناء لحذف الخبر وتحري المصداقية.
كما ودعت كل وسائل الإعلام المرئية والمسموعة والمكتوبة لتحري الدقة وأخذ المعلومات من مصادرها وان يكونوا على قدر من المسؤولية في الوقت الذي تشهد فيه البلاد كارثة صحية غير معهودة ويمكن خلالها أن يكون لوسائل الإعلام دور إيجابي في نشر المعلومات الصحيحة وتوعية المواطنين.
وأكدت أن ما يجري في العاصمة المؤقتة عدن من تزايد لافت في الوفيات هو ناتج عن تفشي فيروس كورونا وامراض الحميات التي انتشرت بفعل انتشار بقع المياه الراكدة ومياه الصرف الصحي التي تعتبر بيئة خصبة لتكاثر البعوض الناقل للأمراض.
وبينت الدكتورة إشراق السباعي أن ما يجري من وفيات مصنفة على أنها بسبب فيروس كورونا مالم يثبت العكس عبر أخذ العينات وفحصها وهذا ليس بالأمر السهل خصوصا مع تزايد الحالات بشكل كبير.
وجددت الدكتورة السباعي دعوتها للمواطنين بالالتزام بالإجراءات الوقائية والتباعد الاجتماعي وغسل اليدين والتعقيم عند الخروج من المنزل للضرورة.

Dr. Al-Sibai renewed her call to citizens to adhere to preventive measures, social separation, hand-washing and sterilization when leaving the house if necessary.
